This movie relies much too much on the sexual. The ladies are borderline softcore porn and while normally I wouldn’t be opposed to any of this, there’s less substance to most of the characters which brings the hope that particular softcore porn could be justified with solid storytelling.

The particular film had SO MUCH possible ways to deliver a story with serious characters and paralell visuals. Nonetheless, it falls short settling on an appealing start and a visual roller coaster ride. It was too active showing you the goods that that forgot it had a plot or depth of character. To escape we must fight, so we must fight in nighties. Does she escape? What is true? Do they make me care? Absolutely no.

I was waiting for the big reveal that resolves everything, tying the actual surreal to the real – expecting the “sucker punch”… then I checked out my ticket stub and it hit me.

OVERALL

Lingerie, action, huge delicious visuals are just inadequate to make this movie “worthwhile” but it’s sexy. Get a set of the cards instead.

This troubles me, but only briefly. Snyder’s track record was pretty solid til now so I won’capital t hang him after one sloppy film. He has done rather well in other works, yet even the great ones vacation up sometimes.

I provide Sucker Punch a Three out of 10 because individuals girls are damned very hot.
