This guitar rock band Arcade Fire received a tremendous boost last night when they received Best Album at this years Grammy Awards. With 28 minutes long, we have already seen pieces of the short film mixed into the tunes video for the title course, and now we’re beginning to have a sense as to when we shall be able to see the entire factor. Those attending the Berlin Film Festival will get the first taste when it premieres there now. The short will then occur stateside at the SXSW Film Festival following March, before being part of a special edition re-release of ‘The Suburbs’ this May, in line with the Guardian (via The Playlist).

The film’s synopsis included in the Berlinale festival program doesn’t reveal much, though it can tell us to expect your typical suburban angst, anger, self-consciousness and innocence.
