If you can disregard the spazzy ‘Entertainment Tonight’-ness of this video — including the terrible questions — there’s some new video footage from the set of ‘Hangover 2′ that you might want to consider. Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis and Justin Bartha reunite to have an exotic Thailand adventure, otherwise known as Stu’s wedding party. The film hits cinemas May 26, and ET compensated the boys a visit to find out what’s in store for us come early july.
When plans for an simple, breezy wedding brunch become a mistake, the Vegas veterans move Bangkok crazy. ET’s video shows a speed boat flying on shore like a missile, a cranky conversation with Stu on a crowded road and we get a peek from Ken Jeong, who returns for part deux. Also joining the staff again is Mike Tyson — hopefully with his tiger.
Perhaps the best part of this video is the huge facepalm Zach Galifianakis gives while the reporter queries Ed Helms about his tooth work (referencing the first movie wherever Stu pulled his own tooth within a bet). This is the most unboring place, he tells ET regarding Bangkok. It’s a pretty good bet the film will be unboring too, but inform us what you think of things up to now after watching the video down below.

What’s the simplest way for a new teen-centric film to acquire a huge, built-in fanbase? Grab stars coming from two wildly successful franchises about to wrap up.
In one part, we’ve got Taylor Lautner, never-not-semi-nude werewolf from ‘The Twilight Saga.’ He’s been recently left in the dust by Bella and is about to try one hell of a politically completely wrong romance. In the other place, there’s Emma Watson, the smart-as-all-hell teen witch and reliable friend to one Harry Potter. They, along with their friends, are about to face off against an evil wizard who massacred a large number of their parents and also older folks.
And now the 2 worlds might collide inside ‘Incarceron.’
In December, Edi gathegi signed onto the sci-fi/fantasy adaptation of Catherine Fisher’s young adult tome, and now Simply Jared reports that Emma Watson is the best contender to star opposite him. Naturally. What studio room wouldn’t want to merge the particular worlds of this era’s two large, youthful blockbusters?
The story focuses on a new man and woman. He wakes up in a very massive prison known as Incarceron, 1 so large that it includes cities, forests and ocean. He has no memory, but he’s sure he originated from the Outside, although no one may be doomed to Incarceron for centuries. Jane is the daughter of the warden, moving into a manor held in the 17th century and run by computers. She’s doomed to an arranged marriage along with involved in an assassination plot … right up until she finds a special essential.
Can prisons and old planets become the next big franchise with Lautner and Watson? Will they have any hormones? Can Lautner soar without shiny vampires? Do you wish it was Taylor lautner (since Cedric was matched together with Cho Chang and not Hermione)? Weigh in below.

Just about the most interesting filmmakers out there looks to get a new project on the way, according to Variety, and it seems like it is something entirely new for the strange, challenging and impressively abundant Peter Greenaway. It looks like the man behind ‘A Zed and Two Noughts,I ‘The Belly of an Architect’ and (your wonderfully twisted) ‘The Cook, the particular Thief, His Wife as well as Her Lover’ is about to get a tiny romantic comedy in his long term.
The project is called ’4 Thunder or wind storms and 2 Babies,’ and even though it’s being described as an intimate comedy — a first for the admirably strange Mr. Greenaway — the plot is encapsulated like therefore: An unconventional love story about two men along with a woman who becomes expectant after a night of three-way sex together. Given what I know of Greenaway’s perform, I’m guessing this will not a typical farce of misunderstandings, no less than not until we get the actual American remake.
But I am just merely a fan of the Greenaway goods. Hit the jump for some powerfully cool insights coming from Monika B., who adores this kind of filmmaker like I adore John Contractor.
Though it brings to mind his earlier work, like the erotic lasciviousness in ’8 1/2 Women,’ this is more surprising for its travel from his recent motion pictures. After the ‘Tulse Luper Suitcases’ — a multimedia undertaking he described as a personal good Uranium — Greenaway dug into history, mostly with his ‘Dutch Masters’ series. First, a theatrical treatment of Rembrandt’s life (‘Nightwatching’), then a short dalliance into royal palaces with ‘Peopling the actual Palaces at Venaria Reale’ before going back to piece of art with an excellently dynamic written of art criticism, ‘Rembrandt’s J’Accuse.Ha Two more historical pieces are also on the way– ‘Eisenstein in Guanajuato,’ about a 1931 film project among filmmaker Eisenstein and American writer Upton Sinclair, and the other in his ‘Masters’ series, ‘Goltzius and the Pelican Business,’ detailing the 16th century painter and engraver regarding erotic prints. Obviously, libido continues to be a central design, but this new undertaking definitely suggest more modern and lightweight fare. — Monika Bartyzel

Where’ve you been, Joe Dante?
Your filmmaker’s last effort, a 3 dimensional horror movie titled ‘The Opening,’ vanished into some sort of distribution hell (it stays unavailable in the United States), and his previous film was the criminally underrated ‘Looney Tunes: Back in Action’ from waaay back in 2003. It’s a shame how the mad genius behind ‘The Peaceful,’ ‘Gremlins’ and the original ‘Piranha’ seemingly has to struggle to get projects made.
This makes the news that will he’s attached to direct ‘Monster Love’ (via Shock Til You Decline) almost feel like a sigh of relief — at least the world has decided to let the man retain working! The film alone, described as a horror humourous, doesn’t get any help from your press release, which opens having a werewolf and a vampire fall in love, igniting a war between his or her respective communities. It’s ROMEO As well as JULIET with fangs. Taken by itself, the actual premise sounds like ‘Underworld’ by way of ‘Twilight,A which doesn’t sound too tempting, but Dante’s mere involvement tends to make this one to keep on your radar.
Moving forward from people who need to make more movies, we arrive at the reports of people who are about to make many more movies. James Wan, director of ‘Death Sentence,’ ‘Dead Quiet,’ the upcoming ‘Insidious’ and also, most notably/infamously, the original ‘Saw,’ offers signed an eight-film deal with Symbol Entertainment (via Coming Soon). The agreement specifies that Wan will create two films a year pertaining to four years, which should be easy adequate considering that he helped generate seven ‘Saw’ films in 7 years. There’s no word yet on whether or not Wan will professionally get behind the camera on any of these films, but he would write the story for his first film under this kind of contract, the not-so-subtly titled ‘House associated with Horror,’ which will be directed by F. Javier Gutierez (‘Before the Fall’).
Ultimately, we leave you with trailers for two tiny horror films you may not have been exposed to just yet (both courtesy of Have a nervous tic). First up, here’s ‘Elevator,’ that looks like the spiritual follow-up for you to last year’s ‘Devil’ — just twice the size of the elevator (and the cast) and replace the particular devil with a bomb. If your blood-splattered characters are any indication, points get pretty nasty:
Next is the new film from your recently revitalized Hammer Films, fresh off the critical (or even financial) success of ‘Let Us In.’ The video is ‘Wake Wood’; the specific horror subgenre is actually cult-in-a-small-British-town-terrorizes-visitors (an old standby, that one); along with the star is Timothy Spall, doing just what Christopher Lee used to do in productions like this: class up the joint.
Other than a dramatic Out soon,’ ‘Elevator’ is without a release date. ‘Wake Wood’ hits British theatres at the end of March and may surely find its strategy to North America (at least on Digital video disc) soon enough.

Back in 2007, Warner Bros. abandoned a plan to bring a CGI ‘Thundercats’ towards the big screen. Flixist has test video clip of what that motion picture would have been like:

If you’ve been dying for a few word, any word, for the inevitable ’300′ follow-up, we have a semi-scoop from a lovable but unlikely source. Nyc Mag’s Vulture indicates that Warner Bros. may be preparing to hand the project over to Person Ritchie (‘Snatch,’ ‘Sherlock Holmes’) and not to ’300′ helmer Zack Snyder, who has ‘Sucker Punch’ on the way, as well as a brand-new ‘Superman’ project to be able to call his own.
The Vulture document also offers all sorts of theories* on exactly why Ritchie may get to helm ‘Xerxes’ over Snyder: One) WB is worried about getting ‘Superman’ directly into production soon for contractual factors; 2) early test tests on ‘Sucker Punch’ were allegedly unkind; Three or more) Snyder’s last two flicks (the owl 1 and the naked blue superhero one) didn’t perform as well as expected. But it’s probably just a situation of Mr. Snyder being very busy, Mr. Ritchie (aside from post-production upon ‘Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows’) being … much less busy, and the studio seeking a profitable ’300′ sequel shortly, goshdarnit! There’s a big July relieve date with Xerxes’ name merely waiting for it!
*(Absolutely no offense to Vulture, but many of us take test-screening smackdown reports with a a dose of skepticism around here. For all we know, some overzealous newbie intern from Extremely important / Universal / Monk could be spreading nasty gossips just to be a wise-ass.)
Update: A report from Entertainment Weekly: Studies that the Sherlock Holmes director had been formally offered the job are generally an erroneous rumor, in accordance with (a WB) rep.

Valentine’s Day is here. In the last handful of days, we’ve talked about the flicks you must avoid on this day of love, the forgotten romantic comedies you can even examine out, and how to celebrate Saint. Valentine in proper nerd style. But now that the day is here, the planning is done, thus there’s nothing left to do however enjoy ourselves … and maybe try to live up to the best on-screen couples Artist has churned out over the years.
There are many of insanely chaotic lovers out there — from the bunny central heating boilers to the indecent billionaires — but separate the particular wheat from the chaff and some happy pairs are left behind. Vanity Fair recently dared to come up with their best legendary couples, and we can’t ignore a list that includes Alfredia Slater and Winona Ryder from ‘Heathers.’ (Did you know in 2007 an older Slater named Ryder still the girl of my dreams?) The truth is, it’s a pretty surprising list, and not entirely what you would expect. Sure, there’s the wants of ‘Annie Hall,’ ‘Titanic’ and also ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s,’ but, as an example, instead of Swayze & Grey, VF chose Swayze & Moore.
By our estimation, any list of legendary Hollywood couples will be remiss to not include…
Arthur Castle and Baby within ‘Dirty Dancing’
While we must applaud a few of the unique picks in the Vainness Fair piece, it seems unusual to include ‘Ghost’ over ‘Dirty Dancing.’ They call the former the film that inspired the purchase of lots of pottery wheels, but Demi and Patrick have nothing on Jennifer along with Patrick. Their romance spurned dance classes and clothing lines (anyone else buy those knee-length jean shorts?), and is so beloved that everybody tuned into ‘Dancing with the Stars’ to see Jennifer Grey revisit the soiled, watermelon dancing.
Jesse and Celine in ‘Before Sunrise’ and ‘Before Sunset’
Their relationship is legendary — two vacationers who get to experience the one-night American tryst most folks only dream of. What’s particularly remarkable is the place where they’ve grown and developed, yet still maintain that heart-tugging enchantment — he evolving from the cynic towards the idealist through life’s hardships, while her whimsy fell away to reveal bitterness. Yet no matter how they change, their connection remains power. In fact, their chemistry along with desire are so palpable that their particular love transcends the niche area of cerebral, philosophical romance and makes the couple one of Hollywood’s true greats.
Nick and Nora Charles in ‘The Skinny Man’
All the above being mentioned, no couple comes close to those of Nick and Nora Charles. Their enjoy wasn’t particularly steamy (on-camera) or even tumultuous, but it was just so good which our imaginations could fill in another details. They’re the couple that bit their thumbs at Hollywood’s usual movie coupledom, while having their martinis and giving any wink. Even today, they’re pretty accelerating and all-round perfect because their dynamism didn’t come from poorly scripted theatre and mistrust. It originated from chemistry and humor.
Given that we’ve fleshed out Fair’s list a tad bit more, it’s your turn. Who is your selected cinematic couple?

This guitar rock band Arcade Fire received a tremendous boost last night when they received Best Album at this years Grammy Awards. It was a nice piece of recognition for a band that has been steadily gaining momentum (along with a heckuva lot of fans) over the past few years, and we’re confident it will turn a lot more people to their winning album, ‘The And surrounding suburbs.’ What some of may very well not know, however, is that Arc Fire recently teamed up with Spike Jonze for another collaboration (don’t forget their work on ‘Where the Crazy Things Are’?), only this time it is a short film based on the Grammy-winning album called ‘Scenes From the Suburbs.’
With 28 minutes long, we have already seen pieces of the short film mixed into the tunes video for the title course, and now we’re beginning to have a sense as to when we shall be able to see the entire factor. Those attending the Berlin Film Festival will get the first taste when it premieres there now. The short will then occur stateside at the SXSW Film Festival following March, before being part of a special edition re-release of ‘The Suburbs’ this May, in line with the Guardian (via The Playlist).
The film’s synopsis included in the Berlinale festival program doesn’t reveal much, though it can tell us to expect your typical suburban angst, anger, self-consciousness and innocence.
I wish I possibly could remember every little moment. But I can’t. Why do My spouse and i only remember the moments which i do. I wonder what happens to the others. A group of suburban youths. Back then, in the summer, so long back. They couldn’t leave community because outside the country had been at war and the armed service controlled life and all gateways. Your teenagers wander aimlessly concerning town. Winter is a long distance off. And love as well as longing and friendship nevertheless mean – everything.
Check out the tunes video for ‘The Suburbs’ below, as well as their Grammy performance of ‘Ready to Start’ as well as Spike Jonze’s previous short film, ‘I’m Below.’
